This is my second time making this hat, I love the pattern, but found the ear flaps weren't spaced far enough apart, so I added 7 sts to the front, between the ear flaps, then decreased 7 sts evenly on the 25th row of stocking stitch, and I believe it worked.

In search of the perfect pumpkins for our annual jack o lantern carving contest. The boys were sporting their snazzy hats... I got a lot of wonderful comments on them. Green Tomato Chow Chow
7 lbs. green tomatoes, sliced thinly.
5 medium onions, peeled and sliced thinly .
1/2 c. pickling salt.

I now have the pattern and the yarn so I started it yesterday. I have exactly 10 days the finish it.(wish me luck)
 I believe I can do it, but not sure about the bonnet and booties? nothing like a deadline to make you apply yourself!
