Baby Shower Gift

I've been slowly getting back into my knitting. This little set is a mishmash of items, but I think they seems to match well.
The little hat is Bananahead Beanie, (a free ravelry download ...I might add!)
The sweater is the Debbie Bliss classic cardigan, I added the flower from the Sirdar coat. (Although not sure I'll keep it?)
And the booties are #139 beehive booties from Patons. (another free download! from Patons)
And believe it or not, all this was knitted from 1 ball of beehive baby sport yarn.
I bought at Leisure World for $3.99, that's right, all this and I still have 1/4 ball left, now that's what I call great value for your dollar! The little booties are probably the easiest knitted booties ever! The pattern calls for a bow made of ribbon, but I thought I'd use the Sirdar flower. (again not sure I'll keep it?)

I just have to add...

I'd leave the flower on the sweater. I think it looks cute. Personally I like blue on girls, and if the sweater was ever to be reused for a boy, it's easy to take the flower off then. I did one baby sweater in blue with pink lazy daisies embroidered on it, with the same idea of the sweater being nice for reuse.

What cute baby knits! I love the flower details. My husband was paranoid about people mistaking out daughter for a boy when she was young so the parents might like the flowers. People need to realize that babies can wear more than one color!
