one nasty cold!

Cari with Dylan's blanket.

Gee! I thought I'd have a finished project to show off today, but no such luck!
I still have the nasty cold. I'm into my 3rd week now. you'd think it would give me lots of time for knitting right? I wish!, my eyes are watering, my nose is running (all the time) I have a horrible cough and all I want to do is sleep. but I can't!
As soon as I can, I'll be knitting on this like a mad woman! lol, but until then I guess I have to be content with a row here and there!

Carol, good to hear from you! Sorry you are still down with that cold. Sometimes a cold will just grab a hold of you and not let go, eh?

Plenty of rest, lots of fluids - warm ones are better (tea, chicken soup), lots of vitamin C (Esther C) - my doc recommends for me, and also a sauna. I told my doc that I don't have a sauna at home, there is one at the local ymca but I don't usually feel like getting out to the y when I'm down with a cold, right ;) to say nothing of passing the cold on to others, so I take a good warm bath or shower. 15 min. is good.

Knitting can wait, Carol. Even though you may feel you can't ;). Hope you are feeling better soon and that your needles are clicking soon again. Look forward to hearing all about it. :D
