pumpkin hat

I haven't had a lot of time for knitting lately. My weekends are really the only time I get to knit, but I managed to finish this little pumpkin hat for the new baby it's so cute! I can't wait until he wears it!!!
I thought it would be cute to have all three boys in the same hat for Halloween, so I'll be making two more!

I reduced the pattern by 10sts  to fit our newborn and used size 3.5 mm dpns for the entire hat.
I bought the yarn at Leisure World they didn't have a lot of orange yarn on hand so I had to settle for Patons Canadiana... it's a little stiff, but should soften up after it's washed.
The pattern is nicely written and available free online.

I haven't had time to work on Dylan's Milan Jacket either, I'm still at 75% .

Hope it still fits him by the time I'm done!

Edit to add a picture of all three boys

I have this hat on my list for tadpole too, good to know about the ten stitches less, if I can just find some orange yarn now :)

Oh that's adorable! I'm looking for a plain hat pattern for my 4 year old. Any suggestions?
