Jakey's Sweater

Well here is Jakey's little sweater, not quite the way I had envisioned it!
I wanted to make the hoodie version of this sweater, but I ran out of yarn! so a basic collar it is. and I think it looks good!
Another great design from this book! If you can get a hold of a copy, buy it! you won't be disappointed. I'm rapidly working my way through this book and loving every design! This will be my go to book for Kids knits each pattern is written to include sizes 0 months to 6 years. And yes, I'm going to knit this sweater again, I just might go shopping for some Sirdar Snuggly DK yarn.

pattern-Design A - Jackets by Sirdar Spinning Ltd.from the book Sirdar 297, Cheeky Chinos
Size-6-12 months
Needle-3.25 mm 4.0 mm
Yarn-3 skeins Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino, but if making the hood, you need 50g more

I have the very same pattern book and it does have some great patterns in it. I like the way they make their patterns to cover a wide variety of ages too. Yours looks great even without the hoodie, and I love the color.

Super cute without the hood! Aren't those miniature cloths just the cutest thing ever! And they do are fast to knit: instant gratification! Congratulations!
