It's beginning to look...

a lot a bit like Christmas around here, the Christmas parade was last weekend, which has always been our cue to start decorate for Christmas. Outside we just hung a few lights and garland around the front door and on the bottom of the front room window, looks nice but it looks even better once we get a bit of snow on it,

I am keeping the Kitchen decorations at a bare minimum this year, as we are sill waiting on the new cabinets and counter tops to be installed, we were promised it would be done in time for Christmas, but I am not holding my breath! so it's just the Dickens Village on the Kitchen window sill,

and the kids made a snowman out of the fridge!

I casted on the babies Christmas stockings, red and white for Liam's and I'm thinking about knitting Julia's pink and white? Not to sure about it though, I'm using the same pattern as the rest of the stocking I made, because they are so easy and very stretchy The baking will start in a few days this year baking will just be cookies and fudge I think? no ginger bread house this year maybe make a few cookie trees instead. and speaking of trees I so want to put a real tree up this year, but it's so hard to talk Hub's into getting one "when we have a perfectly good artificial one and the real ones never last long enough, and they are so messy" his words not mine! anyway the tree will go up around the 15th. I have almost all the shopping done, just a few odds and ends to pick up, but the big things are all bought, and ready to be wrapped.

Hope you have a stress free holiday what ever you celebrate may it be a happy one!

I love your fridge; what a great idea! Merry Christmas to you and your family, all the grandkids. We're enjoying our first Christmas with a baby girl too.
