a catch up

I haven't felt like blogging lately but I have been knitting a few little things.

I've made a few little hats for Julia and a hair band for Kelli, who has decided to grow her hair out.

First off I made a hello kitty hat using some scrap yarn I had sitting in the yarn basket it is so old I'm not even sure the name of the yarn
found the free pattern on Ravelry

and I also made a Tam from the old reliable Patons #98, Family Headwear & Scarves booklet it is my go to source for hats.

Yarn -1 skein Patons Astra Colorway-baby pink

 Needles- 3.75 mm 4.0 mm

Braided headband

made with 3 knitted strips that's braided then sewn in place with a piece of matching grosgrain ribbon.
