I've been making them for MANY YRS. Getting acclimated with the yarn is challenging at first. But once you achieve this the rewards are endless slippers that last forever
I'm a huge fan. I still buy any yarn that I see on Ebay.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10234407259168884777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30232917.post-20502661955062995412011-02-07T14:11:30.456-04:002011-02-07T14:11:30.456-04:00I learned to knit just to make these slippers for ...I learned to knit just to make these slippers for my husband! Pattern says 32 rows for men's slipper which is baloney - 32 rows using US 10 needles created a slipper that barely fit the palm of my hand.... So still working on my first pair and it is sooo slow going... Good thing the yarn is durable enough to make them last a long time. I think with the second slipper I'll double knit using two strands to see if that helps. I have a whole new appreciation for those who make these by the boatload for charities!!

Love your blog and subscribed to it!Butterfly Mammahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16165346959899410402noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30232917.post-50560187444294998042010-10-26T09:45:22.400-03:002010-10-26T09:45:22.400-03:00great job carol and I always hated the yarn but di...great job carol and I always hated the yarn but did love knitting them have an awesome day
hugspeigirlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30232917.post-91606837723126164212010-10-22T22:27:11.937-03:002010-10-22T22:27:11.937-03:00never again!!! lol ;)but it's a nice slipper p...never again!!! lol ;)but it's a nice slipper pattern!Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14189753632054996037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30232917.post-78843145159699605982010-10-22T22:13:30.665-03:002010-10-22T22:13:30.665-03:00I also tried it once! Now that we know, we will never be tempted to buy the stuff again won't we? :-)))Marysehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05150165052713846615noreply@blogger.com
